Terms and Conditions

The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18, from anywhere in the world.
To enter, submit an original, unpublished short story, written in English, 75 - 400 words in PDF Format
You must be the sole author of the work. You may not submit someone else's work.
The closing date for receipt of entries is stated on each competitions page.
There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit. Each submission will require a separate entry form and is subject to a separate entry fee.
Entry fees are non-refundable
All stories are judged anonymously and therefore the writer’s name must not appear on the short story itself. Name and contact details should be on the entry form only.
The theme for each competition is stated on the respective page of the competition.
Participants will be informed via email about the outcome of the competition.
Copyright remains with the writer, we have the right to publish the winning stories and special mentions on the website.
Submission of a written piece implies the author’s acceptance of the rules and conditions.
Prize money will be paid on publication of the winning short stories on our website.
If we select two 1st and/or 2nd and/or 3rd prizes, the prize money will be split between the winners.
